Tom Hiddleston will suit up as Loki again in "The Avengers," out this Friday, and apparently getting back into character wasn't very difficult for the Brit. As he tells MTV News' Josh Horowitz, he's actually a lot more like the Norse god than we might have realized.
Of course, his catch phrase "Loki'd" isn't quite as intimidating as some of Loki's stunts in "The Avengers," but we'll overlook that for now. Hiddleston decided to show off some of his trickster tendencies around the MTV offices in a new After Hours, with devastating results.
We already speculated that Hiddleston was the greatest human being alive after his passionate defense of the superhero genre in The Guardian, but his first foray into After Hours now confirms it. Hiddleston showed off his pranking skills with a zeal we haven't seen since Mark Wahlberg threatened to stab Horowitz on "The Knife Show."
So be warned when you see Hiddleston walking down the street, innocent passersby, because you just might get Loki'd. And, as Horowitz discovered, that's not something you want to have happen to you.
Directed by Joss Whedon, "The Avengers" stars Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Samuel L. Jackson, Hiddleston, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Cobie Smulders. It's due in theaters on May 4.
