For years P!nk has been seeing red when it comes to animal cruelty, and the seal hunts in Canada have been something celebrities like Ke$ha, laypeople and politicians have been protesting the world over. Different animal rights groups, including the Humane Society and PETA, have been puttin' the pressure on Canada, staging boycotts and writing petitions. It looks as if the end might be near, and P!nk wants to help make that happen.

The colorful singer spoke to more than eight million of her fans in the Twitterverse, letting them know about a petition at PETA to stop the seal hunt:

P!nk's link will take you to a petition to stop the insanity aka Canada's seal's slaughter. The big push now is the fact that Canadian Senator Mac Harb has brought out the big guns: a piece of legislation that would be an end to the seal hunt. If you sign the petition, it will be sent to other Canadian senators asking them join Senator Harb. I'm sure P!nk's already added her name to the petition . . . but was it as P!nk or Alecia Moore? And more importantly, will you sign the petition too?
