Got plans this summer? Jordin Sparks wants to send you off on a jet plane to Japan in July for two weeks! The "American Idol" champ tweeted about Act For Japan, an amazing contest she's running with  People to People, which offers amazing volunteer opportunities for students and yah, MTV Act. Shameless promotion, WE KNOW. But hey, it's for a great cause.

If you or any of your friends are between the ages 13 and 19 and would love an opportunity to explore and volunteer in Japan, this contest is totally for you. All you have to do is submit a video by May 18 sharing how you'll give back to the people of Japan. And guess who'll be the celeb judge to pick an Act reader for the once in a lifetime trip? Yup, Jordin! So not only will you get an epic trip, you'll also be selected by a pretty awesome singer. All good for your soul -- and resume!
