Sick of hearing negative stories about teens being bad or apathetic? First off, rude -- you're way off. Secondly, we have uncovered a story that caught our attention, leaving us quite inspired and cops surprised.

As 18-year-old Gerardo Marquez was walking into a Pizza Hut in Habra, California, the teen stepped on what he thought was just a regular empty envelope. As he reached down and grabbed it he realized it was filled with money.

His initial thought? Keep it and carry on! But in this envelope he found $800 dollars. After pondering this greedy thought he took a mature stand and called the police. The police were even surprised to see him doing this kind deed.

Marquez told CBS News, "The cop was actually surprised. He was like, 'We really don't get calls like this much, especially teenagers.' I guess that's what surprised him the most." We have to ask though, what would you do in this situation? Would you follow in the footsteps of Marquez and call the police? Or would you sneak it right into your pockets?

And as if the youth voter turnout last November wasn't enough proof, thanks Gerardo, for further proving young people care!
