Hayden Panettiere is an animal lover, and that's made her a, well, hero to animals around the world. We all know Hayden has a major heart for helping sea life, but don't think she won't brighten the lives of land animals as well!

The "Nashville" star Tweeted her animal rescue news, plus an incredibly adorable pic:

So it looks like Hayden got herself an adorbs new pet, and she saved a rabbit's life, too! And for everyone going, "Awww," over Hayden's new furry BFF, didja know this is far from the first time she's changed the life of an animal? She's an international spokesperson for the Whaleman Foundation, which is all about taking care of the ocean and everything that lives in it. The group wants to put a curb on whaling and works to keep people educated on the issues that affect whales, among other things. Saying "Save the whales" isn't a simple slogan for Hayden -- she lives it.

It may barely be 2013, but Hayden's def raking up the good karma already. And if the stars align -- like you have the time, place, money, love, etc. available -- you can also totally follow Hayden's lead by adopting a pet.
