If you're still without a kick-off moment for the new year, Pixar's latest tease for its upcoming projects should jumpstart your computer-animated-film optimism for what's to come in 2013 and beyond.
To conjure up a little holiday cheer, the studio mailed out a few fold-up cards featuring concept art from "The Good Dinosaur" and more.

Well, it's about time that Pixar took on the prehistoric age—"The Good Dinosaur" is directed by Bob Peterson and is set to hit theaters on May 30, 2014. Here's the straight-forward plot: What if the cataclysmic asteroid that forever changed life on Earth actually missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? Brontosauruses as house pets, perhaps? If so, we're already sold.
All we really know about Pete Docter's "inventive new film" is that it takes you inside the human mind and is scheduled to hit theaters on June 19, 2015. And considering that Docter helmed "Up" and "Monsters, Inc.," rest assured, the project is in good Pixar-alum hands.
It's not set for a 2016 release, but we know that this untitled Pixar project centers around Dia de los Muertos, also known as the Day of the Dead: From director Lee Unkrich and producer Darla K. Anderson, the filmmaking team behind the Academy Award-winning "Toy Story 3," comes a wholly original Pixar Animation Studios film that delves into the vibrant holiday of Día de los Muertos.
