For all of his badass Nazi killing, the Magneto of "X-Men: First Class" didn't spend a ton of time in his signature get-up, something we absolutely forgive him for.
But it's still nice to see that corrected in this new image from "X-Men: Days of Future Past" (via Superhero Hype). The costume is kind of a hybrid between a traditional Magneto costume and something we'd see in Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight" movies. (There's a fanboy somewhere screaming with delight.)
The photo also offers just a tiny bit of more insight into the story of "Days of Future Past," which is still pretty obscure, at least for the portions taking place in the 1970s.
"X-Men: Days of Future Past" opens in theaters on July 23, 2014.
