"Awkward"'s Jillian Rose Reed is on a roll! She recently spoke to MTV Act about her involvement with the Cell Phones for Survivors campaign (which you can still take part in!!) and now she's upped her do-goodery by taking part in the American Diabetes Association Los Angeles Step Out Walk.
Take a look at Jillian in on the charitable action:

November is a doubly important month for Jillian: first, there are new episodes of "Awkward," and second, November is National Diabetes Awareness Month. The diabetes issue is especially personal to the actress because her older brother was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when he was 18-years-old.
The American Diabetes Association Los Angeles Step Out Walk is an annual event, and Jillian was joined by brother Robbie Tucker (not the same brother who was diagnosed) and her "Awkward" co-stars Kelly Sry and Wesam Keesh. Both Jillian and Robbie are spokespersons for the org, and it seems Jillian doesn't have any public speaking fears, because this is the third year where she gave a talk at the important event.
Diabetes is brought about by high blood glucose levels, and you can lower your chances of getting diabetes by eating healthily and being physically active. These days, a little under ten percent of Americans have one form or another of diabetes. Walks like the one Jillian took part in can help spread awareness on best ways to prevent diabetes and also help ensure care and treatment for people who do have diabetes. Keep up the good work, Jillian!
