Some exciting news and possible behind-the-scenes drama coming out of Sylvester Stallone and the "Expendables" cast today. The ringleader of the aging group of action heroes tweeted today, declaring a big cast change for "The Expendables 3," due out on August 15, 2014.
"WILLIS OUT... HARRISON FORD IN !!!! GREAT NEWS !!!!! Been waiting years for this!!!!" Stallone tweeted.
That's certainly exciting news, since the "Indiana Jones" actors has been a member of possibly-Expendables for a while now, along with Jackie Chan, Mel Gibson, Nic Cage, and Wesley Snipes.
But it was what Stallone tweeted next that made us think there's something else going on here.
Shortly after the tweet announcing that Ford was joining the cast, Stallone tweeted this:
GREEDY AND LAZY ...... A SURE FORMULA FOR CAREER FAILURE
— Sylvester Stallone (@TheSlyStallone) August 6, 2013
It doesn't take a great leap in logic to assume that Stallone is subtweeting about Willis here, so it leaves us wondering if Stallone just gave us a peek behind the scenes of "The Expendables 3."
The usually shy Ford has been appearing more and more frequently in the public eye thanks to two recent movies "42" and "Ender's Game." He recently sat down with MTV News at Comic-Con for a ridiculous interview, all of which you can check out here.
"The Expendables 3" opens in theaters on August 15, 2014. The movie will star Sylvester Stallone, Harrison Ford, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, and Kellan Lutz. Patrick Hughes is directing.
