It seems our friends over at Next Movie have discovered the secret to Will Ferrell's brand of comedy: he yells a lot. They put together an epic super cut featuring all of Ferrell's yelling scenes in his movies, and it's absolutely hilarious.
From "Zoolander" to "Anchorman" to "Elf," Ferrell has certainly stretched out his vocal chords over the years. But he only done it to make us laugh, so it's no wonder he was chosen to receive the first-ever Comic Genius Award at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards. It doesn't seem like too much of a stretch to guess that there could be some yelling in his acceptance speech on Sunday as well.
Of course, it's more than Ferrell's tendency to yell that's kept us laughing year after year. He also has spot-on comic delivery, a great eye for awesome costars, plus he likes to strip down for the sake of comedy. We still are impressed with how fast Ricky Bobby manages to get down to just his underwear in "Talladega Nights."
If you're still not clear on why Ferrell is MTV's Comic Genius, here's an infographic to help you figure it out. The MTV Movie Awards air live on Sunday, April 14 at 9 p.m. ET, with "Pitch Perfect" actress Rebel Wilson starring as host.
