We can't wait for this Sunday, when Brittany Snow will join host Rebel Wilson for a "Pitch Perfect" reunion at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards. While that's sure to be a blast, Ms. Snow took to Twitter to talk about something more serious: mental illness.
The actress Tweeted:
Be sure to watch #CallMeCrazy on @lifetimetv April 20th. An important look at Mental illness- starring these talents twitter.com/Brittanysnow/s…

"Call Me Crazy: A Five Film" is a new Lifetime Original Movie about five different characters who have different mental illnesses. Brittany is a member of the cast, and I'd say she's in some pretty fine company -- Jennifer Hudson, Sarah Hyland and more are also in the movie!
While the movie is a work of fiction, it's hoping to spread awareness since mental illness can sometimes be misunderstood or stigmatized. The cast of the movie even got together to make a vid for mental health awareness and point you to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Here, you can get info on mental illnesses, and also seek out treatment and support if you think you might be affected.
If you'd like more info and support, Half of Us has plenty of information on taking care of your mental health, including depression and bipolar disorder. On top of that, Love is Louder, which Brittany created with the Jed Foundation and MTV, also has resources to help people rise above a dark time. As Brittany might say, "Love is louder than mental illness," and there's lots of love and support out there if you know where to look.
