Sprriiiinnng Breeeeaaak! Well, okay, spring break isn't here yet, but it doesn't mean you can't start thinking about it. Here at MTV, we're definitely thinking hard about Spring Fix, and we're hoping you can get involved.
MTV has partnered with United Way and mtvU to bring spring break to areas affected by Hurricane Sandy, and we're looking for a few select college students to help us rebuild. We'll be needing you from March 17 to March 24, and, yup, travel and accommodations will be taken care of. Celebs and public figures may stop by while you work, and MTV cameras will be capturing the rebuilding so they can air it on MTV, mtvU and MTV2. To top it off, our volunteers will be treated to a special concert at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey. We're still keeping it hush-hush about who's going to be performing.
If all this sounds good to you, sign up by taking action below before January 28 to see if you might be selected. If you can't come but still wanna help MTV with Sandy relief, check out serve.mtv.com for other opportunities.
All of this is a continuation of MTV's Sandy relief efforts with "Restore the Shore" and MTV Act's Omaze raffle. You might also remember MTV hooking up with United Way for spring break in 2006 to help rebuild the Gulf after Katrina. Spring break can be about more than bikinis and tans, ya know!
