Dakota Fanning WERKED the Sundance Film Festival red carpet for her film "Very Good Girls" -- as she headed down the press line, my eyes were glued to her stunning look from Louis Vuitton's pre-fall 2013 collection. I did, however, manage to compose myself and chat with her about the project, her younger sister Elle Fanning, and Hollywood's pressure on girls to be perfect.

"Very Good Girls" is about two girls who live in New York City who make quite the pact: a promise to lose their virginity during the summer after high school. After they both begin falling for the same guy, their friendship begins to become tested. Dramaaaa.

Not as much drama goes on at home though, where the acting genes are deeply embedded within her family. Elle is also quite the Hollywood star. "I totally admire her so much. I am her fan," Dakota told me about Elle. "I would like to work with her one day, but it would have to definitely be the right movie -- there's a lot of pressure."

Speaking of pressure, growing up can be difficult for many of us, and the pressure to be "perfect" is a constant battle. So I asked her about how she and Elle have dealt with it. Her response? So. On. Point. "Give it up. No one is perfect. No one will ever be perfect," Dakota said. "As soon as you accept that, and realize that, you can start enjoying your life."

Very good, girl! And congrats on your highly buzzed about film here at Sundance, Dakota. With so many films already under their belt, the Fanning girls are conquering the film world perfectly quite nicely.
