Another day, another reason to be excited for "The Hobbit." Did you think you were allowed to be distracted by this weekend's release of "Skyfall"? No way! A whole bunch of new promotional material for the upcoming Peter Jackson film has made its way online, and it continues to tease us without giving too much away.
First up are the four new posters that you can see above. These images don't show us anything we don't already know, but they do pinpoint some of the key scenes we can expect to see in "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey." Whether it be Bilbo's first meeting with the dwarves or his run-in with some wolves, these are moments that fans of "The Hobbit" can obsess over and wonder how Jackson is going to translate to the big screen.
There also is a new image that shows Bilbo (Martin Freeman) with dwarves Fili (Dean O'Gorman) and Kili (Aidan Turner), but we're more interested in the set photos that give us our first look at Luke Evans as Bard the Bowman. We might not know much about him, but who cares? Evans is an actor we adore and it's nice to have some surprises in a movie that's based on a book that's been out since 1937.
Last but not least, Denny's has released a featurette about the "An Unexpected Journey" dinner party, and watching it has made us starving. If you're wondering why Denny's has anything to do with "The Hobbit," then you probably didn't hear the exciting news that the restaurant chain is launching a Middle-Earth-themed menu starting Dec. 4. Hungry for a "Gandalf's Gobble Melt" yet?
"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" hits theaters on December 14.
