On November 15, MTV will be airing "Restore the Shore," a special to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy, especially in the area where "Jersey Shore" takes place. Members of the "Jersey Shore" cast will be taking part, and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has a simple but helpful idea to lend a hand.
Ronnie Tweeted:
#SaveTheShore & follow me on #Qubeey. Qubeey will donate to the Red Cross for each follow I get! qubeey.com/ronniemagro twitter.com/MTVRonnie/stat…""

It's really that simple. A great way to help is to donate to the Red Cross (remember, folks, texting REDCROSS to 90999 donates $10!), but if you're strapped for cash, you might want to consider Ronnie's offer. By signing up to follow him on Qubeey, money will be donated to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.
If you head on over to Ronnie's Qubeey link, you'll also be directed to the Red Cross and Architect for Humanity sites. Architect for Humanity helps people rebuild after natural disasters, and it's teamed up with MTV for "Restore the Shore." On top of following Ronnie, you can also check out these two super-helpful orgs he's promoting.
Ronnie's not the only member of "Jersey Shore" helping out. Besides donating supplies, Snooki also went on "Good Morning America" to help fundraise and Pauly D went on "LIVE! with Kelly and Michael." Vinny and Deena have also been doing volunteer work. There are plenty of volunteer opportunities out there too, even if you don't live in the areas hit by Sandy. And if you don't have money or want to follow Ronnie on Quebeey (Hrumph!), why not donate food or cleaning supplies?
And remember to tune in to "Restore the Shore" next Thursday! In addition to airing on TV, the special will also be available online and on your smartphone.
