Now that Hurricane Sandy has passed, the nation is coming together and doing what it can to help rebuild. On Friday NBC Universal held a live benefit concert to fund raise for the American Red Cross, and Christina Aguilera was one of the stars who took part.

Before going on-stage at "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together," Xtina Tweeted:

Her link to the Red Cross allows you different ways to make an impact, including donating money and blood. There is a shortage of blood, so if you're not able to donate money but are old enough, you might be able to give blood instead.

New York native Christina said to people affected by Sandy, "We will do whatever we can to help. We will not leave anyone behind, because every single one of you matters." She sang a beautiful rendition, of, well, "Beautiful," and afterward Tweeted about what it meant to her to take part:

The telethon was hosted by Matt Lauer and featured the talents of Mary J. Blige, Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen and others. Almost $23 million dollars pooled in from this event. Over on ABC, the network has called it a Day Of Giving across all of its programming. Snooki joined "Good Morning America" and DJ Pauly D joined "Live! with Kelly And Michael." As of press time, the network had raised over $9 million dollars. And there's still time to help!
