Singer, Punk'd master and anti-bullying advocate Justin Bieber has lent his tune "Born to be Somebody" to be the background music for the new "Bully" trailer. A majah supporter of the doc, the Biebz was one of 500,000+ people who signed an online petition urging the MPAA to give "Bully" an age-rating lower than R. The petition paid off, and now the film is rated PG-13, so teens affected by bullying can see it. There's a lot to be said for being a Belieber!

Justin saw the movie himself back in March, and tweeted 'bout it:

Reppin' hard for the film is just one of the many ways JB has spoken out against bullying. In the video below, he showed his support for Ellen DeGeneres's message to Be Kind to One Another by encouraging bystanders of bullying to "step in and help out."

Bieber donated his golden locks voice to help stop digital abuse too. He partnered with MTV's A Thin Line Campaign to bring awareness to the cause. By posting your action to stop digital abuse on Draw Your Line, MTV's virtual map tracking actions taken across the country, you were entered to win a voicemail greeting from Biebz. #Amaze

Last year, Justin met Casey Heynes, known as the "gentle giant who had enough" or you might know him as the Aussie student who stood up to a bully and became a viral wonder. The pop star flew Casey and his fam to Melbourne, Australia, and made them VIP at one of his shows. He even brought Casey on stage during his performance of "Never Say Never" -- fitting, right?

While talking with Casey and his dad, Justin shared, "It's one thing to get bullied and stand up for yourself, but more people have to stand in and actually do something." During the interview, the Biebz even revealed that he was bullied before he became famous.

He also talked about being picked on during an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." He mentioned some less than kind YouTube comments he received.

"Everybody goes through bullying," said Justin. "Everybody has, even me. On my YouTube page, there are so many haters. They just say crazy stuff…People are like, 'Look at him, he puts helium in his voice before he sings.'"

Oooof. What may sound like helium to some has made Justin who he is today. We're glad you never said never, JB! XO
