There are plenty of things to do in Hollywood. Go clubbin'. Pick up records at Amoeba Music. Take photos of the iconic Hollywood sign. Fight cancer with "Teen Wolf" star Tyler Posey.

That's right. I was lucky enough to kick it with Tyler in Hollywood to fight cancer. It all started with a sweet Tweet. Tyler announced on Twitter that he was doing the Light The Night Walk for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Who has time to do this when you're filming the GREATEST SHOW EVER ON MTV?!?! (Sorry "Jersey Shore" "TRL" and "Catfish.") Tyler walked the walk because of personal reasons that he courageously opened up about in the video below. His aunt passed away from cancer and his mom is currently battling it. And clearly he's not alone in his fight against cancer. The facts are crazy but chances are if you're reading this sentence, you have a loved one who has been diagnosed with cancer. According to the American Cancer Society:
+ Cancer is the second most common cause of death in the U.S. It accounts for nearly 1 in 4 deaths.
+ Approximately 580,350 Americans are expected to die of cancer in 2013. That's almost 1,600 people a day.
While the statistics can be daunting, instead of wallowing in fear, Tyler did the exact opposite: he took action. He set out to raise $10,000 to help find a cure for leukemia and lymphoma. With the help of the wolf pack ("Teen Wolf's" fan army. Duh.) Tyler exceeded his goal and raised nearly $12,000! Some of the fans who donated even got a chance to walk alongside Tyler. Watch it all in the touching video below.

How awesome are super fans Madison Aucoin and Lauren Kayes?! Madison couldn't afford to fly from New Orleans to LA for the walk but thanks to the help of the wolf pack, they funded her flight! It's never easy to talk about losing a parent but Lauren bravely spoke about it and why the Night The Light Walk means so much her and her family.

"Cancer is something that feels crippling...be supportive of them. Make their life worth living and love them," said Tyler about how to support a close friend or relative fighting cancer. "Doing stuff like this really helps," he explained about the walk. "It helps bring the positivity up. Volunteer at cancer foundations, be a part of it."
