Ke$ha, who will be returning to MTV for season two of "My Crazy Beautiful Life" on October 30, loves kitties. And now one particular white and fluffy kitty has all the reason in the world to love her back!

Over the weekend, Ke$ha shared the good news on Instagram and Twitter. She wrote, "someone just got rescued..." and shared this precious pic:

 

She explained on Twitter why she adopted this particular cat, saying, "new kitty was in a tiny cage for 8 months .... I couldn't just leave him!! now he has his own bedroom... just need a name ..."

Unfortunately, what she's describing isn't a rarity. Lots of animals are kept in small cages for long periods of time while they wait to see if they'll be adopted.

Ke$ha shared another pic of her friend, saying, "per request animals !! here's a pic... he needs a name.... help!?!"

 

A little later she shared a third pic. "he looks like a white lion! @i_is_mrfluffypants," she wrote.

 

So it seems the newly rescued cat is Mr. Fluffy Pants, and Ke$ha's already set up her stylin' new rescue with his own Instragram page. You can also save animals by adopting cats (and other animals) from your local shelter. Even if your rescued pets don't get their own Instagram pages, they'll know they're in a better place and you're the one who saved them!
