In a new episode of "Made," 16-year-old Mandy Burel goes from theater geek to cheerleader. But Mandy learns to put more than the "cheer" in cheerleader.

Eager to make new friends Mandy trains to be part of her high school cheerleading team. Turns out Mandy encounters more drama in her own life than when she was in drama club. From struggling at practice to pleading with her parents to let her take an older boy to prom, Mandy's episode has her looking a whole lot more like a drama queen than a cheerleader. But that doesn't stop her from putting her pom poms down to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity during her spring break.
Mandy related building a home to her own journey. "Laying the cement was just kind of like the first week with Jalina (her coach) it's really hard and I'm going through all these struggles," she explained. "But you're doing all this work and then eventually there will be this really big beautiful house."
+ Watch Mandy trade in her high-pony for a hard hat in the deleted scene below.
