It's time to see Jay-Z like you've never seen him before! He stars in the all-new Showtime documentary "Made in America," which touches on the American dream, work, and the power of music to make change.

The doc, which will premiere this Friday, is all about Jay's "Made in America" music festival. You can check the trailer here:

"We all have the same struggles and the same dreams," says Jay-Z, who is also the producer of the doc.

"Everybody has things that they're fighting," Janelle Monáe agrees in the trailer.

"People want to work, people want to make an honest living," says Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam.

Ron Howard, the director of the film, talked to Rolling Stone about how stories of the American dream kept coming up in the course of the movie. "The phrase 'made in America' put people in a wavelength; this is what they talked about," he said. "There was this inspiring expression of possibility, self-reliance and an entrepreneurial spirit, which was what Jay-Z was talking about initially, and I kept seeing it pop up over and over again."

The doc also includes Rita Ora and Skrillex, among other musicians. The trailer is only about two minutes, but it touches on politics, needing something to believe in, and how far people can go with their dreams. These entertainers dreamed big, worked hard and got big. What are your dreams for the future, and what can you do to help make them happen? I bet Jay-Z would like to know!
