Austin Mahone is having a pretty awesome year. He's spent his summer touring around the country with Taylor Swift. He just got his first MTV Video Music Award nomination. But just because the singer is on track for superstardom doesn't mean he's given up on giving back.

Just yesterday Mahone attended an event at the Levine Children's Hospital on behalf of the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. Like we mentioned last week, Ryan Seacrest is on top of his philanthropy game. On Monday the Ryan Seacrest Foundation opened another Seacrest Studios in Charlotte, North Carolina, at the Levine Children's Hospital. The studios serve as "broadcast media centers" within pediatric hospitals that help patients "explore the creative realms of radio, television and new media." Always the overachiever, Seacrest has already opened studios in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Dallas, and Orange County, CA!

Although Ryan Seacrest Foundation Ambassador Selena Gomez couldn't attend the ceremony, Austin Mahone was more than ready to step in for a good cause. Mahone celebrated Seacrest's newest studio by performing live at the hospital. Since Mahone just announced his upcoming tour with MTV, we can't think of a better warm-up performance than one for these kids!
