The city of Chicago sure has something to sing about! Famous rapper and new father, Kanye West, has partnered his charity with a local church to provide free music lessons to underprivileged youth.

Donda's House, which was co-founded by Kanye and named after his beloved mother, will be working with St. Sabina's Church for "Got Bars" a 10-week music program. According to Rollingstone.com, students will learn how to record and write music under the direction of Grammy-winning rapper Rhymefest.

The program is intended to encourage and educate young people age 15-24 who don't have many positive after-school opportunities.

"Art instruction and particularly music instruction leads people to become better problem solvers, more flexible," Donnie Smith, executive director of Donda's House told OK! "There are just so many outcomes that come from the study of music and particularly music writing."

The program will also include diet and fitness counseling from a former professional athlete.

Aside from being an award-winning hip-hop artist, Kanye West is an entrepreneur with his own clothing line, shoe line, and record label. He's one of those people who can do it all, while inspiring others to do the same.
