Jenelle Evans has been juggling a number of issues in her life, and on tonight's episode of "Teen Mom 2," it shows her getting out of an abusive relationship after her fiancé hurts her.
In the show, Jenelle's recently gotten engaged with Gary, but it's far from engagement paradise. The two often fight, and after one argument Gary kicks in Jenelle's front door. Later he comes over to apologize and they make up. Shortly after that they get into another fight that turns physical.

MTV cameras weren't there to witness this fight, but Jenelle describes the scene. According to her, Gary strangled her with a blanket, and then she punched him in the back. In response, he began to beat her which created bruises all over her body. Jenelle called the police and both were arrested and spent the night in jail.
Last week's episode of "Teen Mom 2" showed dating abuse when Kailyn got physical with Javi, and tonight's episode shows a more extreme form of dating abuse with Jenelle and Gary. While levels of dating abuse can vary, it's important to know that any kind of abuse is not okay. An abuser might apologize, as Gary did, but that doesn't take away what happened before or make it less likely for abuse to continue in the future. It's important to get out of an abusive relationship, and orgs like Love Is Respect are here to help if you or someone you know is experiencing abuse. You should never have to fear the person you're with, and you can text "loveis" to 77054 or call 1-866-331-9474 at any time if you need help.
