Senator Dianne Feinstein has announced that she's introducing a bill after the New Year that aims to ban assault weapons. According to CNN, the Senator said, "We exempt over 900 specific weapons that will not fall under the bill, but the purpose of this bill is to get...'weapons of war' off the street of our cities." In other words, this ban is only going after very specific types of guns. Assault weapons are designed for military assaults, not hunting or civilian self-defense. An assault weapons ban was made in 1994 (with Senator Feinstein as one of its supporters) but since then the ban had expired.
Big doesn't say his opinion on the matter, but leaves it up to his followers to learn about the issues and decide for themselves what they believe. With issues like this, it's good to follow Big Boi's lead and read up on all you can to learn the facts!
