We're expecting Baz Luhrman's interpretation of "The Great Gatsby" to be nothing short of the visually decadent feasts the director is so deft in creating. But unfortunately, we'll have to wait until summer 2013 to really see the spectacle for ourselves. In the meantime, Warner Bros. has released a few character posters, giving us a sneak peek at the vibrant costumes and art deco flair particular to the film's Jazz Age era backdrop.

The each seriously stylish poster features a colorful character from the tragic tale. And if you weren't paying attention in your high school English class or simply need a refresher, lucky for you, each promo is labeled with Fitzgerald's own description of the doomed bunch.

Out of the presumed six posters, the first two to be unveiled feature Myrtle Wilson and Tom Buchanan, played by Isla Fisher and Joel Edgerton, respectively. Fisher holds a smoldering gaze as Buchanan's low-class mistress, while Edgerton pulls off a threatening pose, fitting for his character, the wealthy and dangerous Buchanan.

Closely following the big reveal of Myrtle and Tom are Tobey Maguire and Elizabeth Debicki, who got the poster treatment as well, as the book's observant couple Nick Carraway and Jordan Baker. Carraway serves as the eyes and ears to the movie's plot, while Baker is his love interest and helps to facilitate the reunion between Daisy and Gatsby.

So now we're left to anticipate the release of the final two posters featuring the leading couple, Daisy Buchanan (Carey Mulligan) and Jay Gatsby (Leonardo DiCaprio). It should be anytime soon, so stay tuned!

"The Great Gatsby" will open on May 10, 2013 in 3D and 2D theaters, and also stars Jason Clarke, Adelaide Clemsens, Gemma Ward and Callan McAullife.
