You've already gotten your tickets for that great 2013 Lady Gaga concert in your area, but did you know there's even more to look forward to in the coming year? Gaga's Born This Way Foundation is launching the Born Brave Bus Tour!
The Born Brave Bus tour begins on January 14 in Tacoma, Washington, and will be going with Lady Gaga across the country with her Born This Way Ball tour. Before the concert starts, people between the ages of 13 and 25 can hang with the BBBT, where they'll be treated to food, activities and the music of Lady Starlight. But this is more than your typical pre-party -- this is also an opportunity to get more involved with the Born This Way Foundation and learn self-acceptance. At each event, there will be plenty of important resources available, including volunteer opportunities, bullying info and other health services. Very importantly, the bus tour will connect people to services like these in their own community.
The Born This Way Foundation has hooked up with groups like The Trevor Project, the National Association of School Psychologist, and Campus Pride to put this together. On top of that, Viacom, which is the parent company for MTV, is the lead media partner. *toots own horn*
Later in December you'll get the opportunity to pre-register for the events, and make sure you keep up with the Born This Way Foundation's website.
