Today Every day is National Philanthropy Day! Yup, there is a day out there to celebrate you and all your good deeds -- and to encourage people to join you.

You may not have heard about National Philanthropy Day, but it is gaining ground. More than 125 communities have things set up for today (like galas, seminars, and even award ceremonies). There might be one in your community, but if not, now you've got 365 days to plan something and make next year's the biggest National Philanthropy Day yet.

There are so many different ways you can help out. Volunteer? Yup. Donate? Si. Mentor someone? *nods head* Of course at MTV Act we're all about taking action to make things better, and on this day we want to give a big round of applause out there to all of YOU for the THOUSANDS of actions you've taken since we launched. And for everything you do ON TOP of that. WERK! Today you can give yourself a pat on the back, and sit back and indulge in these gifs below. Well, after you go and take action, duhhh.
