October is anti-bullying month, and Demi Lovato shared a super inspiring, anti-bullying clip that's been making its way around the Internet. You might already have seen it (over 9 million views and counting), but if not, it's def. a must-see.
The boisterous "X Factor" judge Tweeted:
m.youtube.com/watch?v=rUOpqd… Jennifer Livingston is a STRONG, BEAUTIFUL and inspiring woman... Please watch this video..

Jennifer Livingston (who is actor Ron's sister) is a CBS WKBT news anchor who received an email from a man who had an issue with her weight. "Surely you don't consider yourself a suitable example for this community's young people, girls in particular," he wrote, saying he thought she needed to lose weight.
Livingston took about four minutes of the news to address this email, and that's the inspiring vid that Demi wants us to watch. "I am much more than a number on a scale," Livingston said. She went on to talk about October and anti-bullying month. "This [bullying] is a problem that is growing every day in our schools and on the Internet...as the mother of three young girls, it scares me to death."
The brave news anchor talks about bullying being a learned behavior, and how parents who call her "fat" teach their kids to act the same way, and that's how bullying gets started. And there's def a lot of bullying out there for how people look.
Demi also Tweeted:
Almost everything I stand for has been said by Jennifer Livingston in the video below.. Please watch this and retweet..

It totally makes sense that Demi has Jen's back. Afterall, the "Best Video With A Message" winner has gone public about her issues with insecurity and her eating disorder. When people like Demi and Jennifer Livingston talk out about this stuff, it gets people thinking. Have you said things that's less than nice? Have you had things less than nice said about you? Anti-bullying month is the perf time to start turning things around.
