What makes you happy? What's your natural high? Lauren Conrad talks about hers (getting to design beautiful clothing) and wants to help you find yours too.
Gorgeous Lauren, along with her equally attractive rents (California fams. SIGH), took part in a five minute video to talk about Lauren's dedication to fashion and art and what matters to her in life. Her dad admits that as a kid, LC was "pretty tomboyish." Ha! More importantly though, in the video she credits the fact she didn't get into substance abuse to helping her meet her goals.
"The first time I can remember being aware of drug use around me was as early as sixth or seventh grade," Lauren reveals. She also talks about why she never did drugs. "I just genuinely didn't want to do them. It didn't seem that cool to me and it didn't look that fun so I just never really had an interest," she explains. Take a look below to see what she has to say about her life and the decisions she made:

So why was this video created? Our star from "
The Hills" has hooked up with Natural High, a drug abuse prevention organization. Natural High gives free DVDs to teachers
that "feature celebrities, professional athletes, musicians, and famous role models who share their stories, and encourage youth to pursue their own natural highs."
You might already be familiar with this program at your school, because more than 15,000 educators are already using it. That means it's reaching approximately 6 million students each year. Natural High is hoping to double that number by 2015. Lauren's not the only name involved in this effort, either -- musician Cassadee Pope and skateboarder Tony Hawk are a few of the others who are taking part, and you can check out their vids at the Natural High website.
Remember that if you or someone you know is suffering from substance abuse and need help breaking from an addiction, there is help available, like through Half of Us.
