You dance for fun. You dance with your friends. You dance alone in your room to "Call Me Maybe." (Yeah. I admit it!) But did you know you can dance to save lives?! Dance4life -- an international organization that uses song and dance to empower young people in the fight against AIDS -- is launching Stateside!

On Saturday, October 27th, they're hosting a pre-party for the Sensation electronic music festival in NYC. Attendees will be able to dance the night away, hang with Victoria's Secret Angel and Dance4life spokeswoman Doutzen Kroes, and bid on some sweet auction items -- all in the name of charity!

According to Dance4life, approximately 1.2 million people in the U.S. live with HIV, and young people account for nearly 40 percent of new infections across the globe! In addition to hosting awesome parties, the organization educates young people on safe sex, and tries to eliminate some of the fear people have of discussing HIV and AIDS. "We believe that if young people in the United States and across the globe are inspired and educated to stand up for their sexual health and rights we can halt the spread of HIV and AIDS," said Dance4life Executive Director Michele Giordana. "If young people believe in themselves, they are more likely to make the right decisions."
