It can wait, right? No, no, no, I'm not talking about sex (cue Salt-N-Pepa). I'm talking about texting while driving. Look, we've all been guilty of it but we shouldn't do it again because it's deadly and the cast of the "Real World St. Thomas" def. agrees.
How deadly is texting while driving? On a typical day, eleven teens die from car crashes. You can't believe it, either?
I'm a New Yorker and I don't really drive. BUT this past weekend I was at the VMAs (Not so humble brag, sorry!) and driving around LA. I couldn't even tell you how many times I wanted to pick up my phone to read my text messages or peek at Instagram but I resisted temptation. I don't want to be one of the over 100,000 car crashes a year that involve texting. And did you know that texting drivers are 23 times more likely to get in a car accident? Ooof. Who doesn't want to avoid being in that statistic?
In the video below, Real Worlders LaToya, Marie and Swift took a pledge not to text while driving. "No text is worth dying for," explains Swift about why he decided to take the AT&T pledge to never text and drive.

Join Swift and co. in taking a pledge not to text while driving. Or Tweet out why you think #itcanwait. I think we can all agree that no life is worth losing over a text message. So take action to avoid accidents and tragedy on the road.
