Typhoon Haiyan took up to 10,000 lives and displaced hundreds of thousands of others in the Philippines last Friday. The storm leveled houses and cut off water and power supplies in many regions. Now, more than ever, people need our help. Here's how you can lend a hand, a dollar, or a Tweet to disaster relief.

Oxfam is on the ground and delivering water and much-needed hygiene supplies to to help save lives. With hundreds of thousands of people without food, water or shelter, the organization is in desperate need of your donations. Skip that Starbucks latte today and donate to disaster relief. Every dollar counts!

Times are tough and many of us don't have a dollar to spare. We totally get it. Instead, show your support for disaster victims and relief on social media usingt he hashtag #Haiyan.

 + Donate Food Through the World Food Programme

The World Food Programme is delivering 44 tons of High Energy Biscuits to people in the Philippines today. The large load of nutrient-packed food is enough to feed 120,000 people for a day, but get this: authorities estimate that 2.1 million families have been affected by the typhoon. That's the equivalent of over 9 million people! Donate to the WFP so they can work to feed everybody.

 + Give to Children through UNICEF

Children displaced by the typhoon need food, water, medicine and shelter more than anyone. Give to UNICEF's disaster relief efforts, aimed specifically at helping young people survive these devastating times.

The Red Cross is always on the ground when natural disaster strikes any area. Donate whatever you can to their relief efforts to help out.
