Britney Spears has been making music since she was a wee little thang, so it comes as no surprise that she recently became an ambassador for VH1 Save the Music Foundation, an org that advocates for music education as more and more schools cut it from their programs.
The "Perfume" singer recently Tweeted:
So proud to be a @vh1savethemusic Ambassador in 2014!! Find out how u can help save the music here: http://t.co/6rnEC50fAl Xo #PassTheNote

VH1 Save The Music is nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring music education in America's public schools and raising awareness about the importance of music in every child's growth and development. Studies show that music can have positive, powerful effects on children's academic performance, sense of community, self-expression and self-esteem. It's also just really freakin' fun to play and listen to, and every young person deserves to have a good time!
If you're as into saving music as Brit-Brit is, become a student advocate for Save the Music. Stand up for your own and other kids' rights to music education by donating $25 (that's like a week's worth of your fave coffee drink), or Tweeting your thoughts on what makes music so important with the hashtags #SaveTheMusic and #PassTheNote.
