Do you ever go back and visit the place where you went to elementary school? Mike Posner did, and odds are he inspired the kids there . . . and we know they def inspired him!
Mike shared this on Twitter:
I got to visit my old elementary school. The kindergarteners taught me an awesome dance. pic.twitter.com/tyzfVTcvcv

Any guesses on what dance that is?!
According to the Detroit News, Mike also recently visited his old high school, Birmingham Groves High School, to film a music video for his single "Top of the World." (His elementary school will also be part of the vid!) He gave current high school students words of wisdom as well, talking about how the diversity at his high school helped prepare him to attend Duke University. Whether or not he also talked about education — or just stuck with dancing — with the elementary school kids is unclear.
At any rate, being in elementary school and having someone as successful as Mike stop by is sure to be inspiring. And Mike likes to return to his roots and help in his home state of Michigan. Case in point: last December he Tweeted about volunteering with Friendship Circle of Michigan, which supplies help and programs to families with special needs individuals. He also shared some pretty cool snaps from that experience, too.
These days Mike is rubbing shoulders with Justin Bieber, but it's great to see he still takes time to help others. If anything, he helped brighten your day by showing a pic of himself dancing with a bunch of elementary school students. Can you look at that pic without smiling?
