"Marvel's The Avengers (2012)" Director: Joss Whedon Cast: Robert Downey, Jr.,
Chris Evans,
Mark Ruffalo Story: Marvel Studios delivers the ultimate comic-book film, which ties together such characters as Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) for a big-screen franchise team-up like no other.
On the Disc:
All of the "Avengers" Blu-rays come packed with special features, and though there several different versions of the disc, the extras remain the same for the large part. The only differences between the versions are packaging and the inclusion of a 3-D version. Among the many special features, which include deleted scenes, gag reels and behind-the-scenes featurettes, it might be the least flashy bonus that gives you a great reason to own this disc. Joss Whedon recorded an eloquent, insightful, and hilarious commentary track that makes the movie worth rewatching for the umpteenth time.
