When word came down the line that there was an all-female "Expendables" in the works, action fans everywhere start compiling dream casts, and now that the first femme fatale has been cast, most of those lists probably have one name crossed off.
According to a report from Variety, Gina Carano is attached to star in the all-female version of "The Expendables."
Producer Adi Shankar is putting the project together and has begun the casting process, which will attempt to assemble an all-star team of female action stars. Offers are reportedly out to other actresses.
Shankar spoke to Variety about Carano's involvement and made an amazing metaphor. "I don't know how I'm supposed to make a movie that is supposed to be the female version of 'The Expendables' without Gina Carano in it," he said. "It would be like making Twix without caramel or Jamba Juice without jamba."
If Carano ends up being the caramel of this Twix, who should be the cookie? What about the chocolate? Let us know who else you want to see in the all-female "Expendables" in the comments below and on Twitter!
