The ole Twitter universe is a great place for celebs to flex their pro-social muscle, and soulful crooner Frank Ocean sent a powerful one-word message out to his more than a million and a half followers.
We probably all still have chills from watching Frank's performance of "Thinkin About You" at the Video Music Awards earlier this month, and now he tells us what he's thinking about. You could say he's thinking about "you" (uh, us) because his one-word Tweet would affect all of us:
nonviolence.

You could call this a Short But Sweet Tweet (sorry, couldn't resist). No explanation, no link. But somehow it's enough.
Frank made a major move this past summer when he came out about his sexuality. He wrote on his Tumblr, "4 summers ago, I met somebody. I was 19. He was too." He went on, "It was my first love. It changed my life."
The hip-hop world isn't exactly known for being gay-friendly, so this was a career risk for Frank. But in the end he got a lot of support for his decision from Beyonce to his longtime fans. So does that mean the path of nonviolence is going to be his next big move? As much as we love Frank's Tweet, we also want to hear more from him about this! Or maybe he was vague on purpose, to see how people would respond to it and what ideas they would come up with on how to be nonviolent. What do you think?
