CeeLo Green is getting even greener -- by creating the GreenHouse Foundation! The org, which will officially launch this Friday, is the passion project of CeeLo and his sis Shedonna Alexander, and it's going to do what it can to help the environment and make the world much more, well, green.
"The Voice" judge Tweeted his exciting news:

So you've got a new Twitter account from CeeLo -- @greenhousefoun, plus a link to explain a lil more of what all this is about. Turns out CeeLo's family is full of philanthropists (his mom was a firefighter and his grandma was involved with drug prevention programs in underprivileged communities), and he's just continuing the family business of doing good deeds.
The GreenHouse's very first initiative is gonna be called the Green Garden Education Program. It involves schoolkids and CeeLo's site explains: "Through this program, the GreenHouse Foundation will build outdoor green gardens on campuses and introduce 'green education' into [students'] everyday curriculum, teaching children the importance of 'being green.'"
The org is also going to concentrate on helping kids in disadvantaged areas. Shedonna points out that there are a bunch of pluses to what the GreenHouse Foundation hopes to do. The programs will teach kids math and science, but it will also school them on how to better take care of the earth and what it means to be sustainable. On top of that, it should be just plain fun!
So keep your eyes peeled for more from CeeLo and Shedonna's foundation. We have a feeling it's an org you won't be singing "F**k You" to.
