Snooki loves her animal prints, but you know those are fake, right? She wouldn't hurt a real animal. In fact, she's passionate about helping tigers and so is another big name in the world of reality TV: Khloé Kardashian Odom.
Stars must be aligned 'cause both ladies Tweeted about tigers on the same day. Are they kindred spirits? Seems Khloé is an early riser, because she got to Twitter at 6:34 am and wrote:
Text!"@World_Wildlife: Tigers need you! Text TIGERS to 20222 to donate $10 & help WWF save these big cats #text4tigers twitpic.com/a0r074"

A few hours later it was Snooki's turn to Tweet:
Protect Wild Tigers! This week, text TIGERS to 20222 to donate $10 to WWF & protect the big cats! #text4tigers

The World Wildlife Fund is backing a major campaign where you can help tigers...with your phone. Listen to the wise words of these ladies: if you text TIGERS to 20222, you will be supplying a $10 donation. The org spells out where the money will be spent, saying they will concentrate on anti-poaching work as well as "building political will in tiger range countries, protecting and connecting tiger habitats on a massive scale, and clamping down on tiger trade."
A vid on the site has Dick Van Dyke talking about the importance of this campaign, noting how there are only about 3,000 wild tigers still out there. When Dick was a kid, the number was at about 80,000. The texting donation is a one time thing and you do have to be 18 or older to take part, but there are other ways to help out tigers through WWF. You can even get a cute stuffed tiger from them and know that the money is going to help the real animals. Aww!
