We recently wrote about Cherish Each Day blogger and MTV Act fave John M. He lives with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2 and has been in a wheelchair for as long as he can remember. The ridiculous pretty (and pretty awesome) singer Lana Del Ray showed John some love recently!

Earlier this month, John hit up a Lana Del Rey concert in New York City's Irving Plaza, where he was seated in the balcony area. The balcony is typically for VIP (and John is mos def VIP in our book!), but also the only place in the venue that is wheelchair accessible. John eventually found himself by Lana's dressing room door, where he asked security if she'd be willing to autograph his CD. Try not to get too jealous when you find out what happened next…

Lana invited him in! The once hipster fave who all the hipsters turned on when she finally hit it big (Can't we just be happy for musicians when they go mainstream?! Gosh.) is a total sweetheart. "She is seriously the nicest person I've ever met," explained John to Act.  "I told her how I got the tickets on eBay and told her it was well worth it cause she did amazing. She thanked me and was really so sweet the whole time."

Sure, she's received a lot of criticism and hilar GIFs for her less than spectacular "Saturday Night Live" performance and changed appearances, but COME ON! SNL was her first stateside show ever and we'd all look a lot different if we had a team of stylists to make us hot every morning.

We love it when celebs show us their softer sides, like Lana did with John. We also love us some political role-play. That being said, Lana's A-ok in our books.
