A new season of "Keeping up with the Kardashians" is now airing, and the sisters are also keeping up on the news. People around the country were on the lookout for missing 15-year-old Pierce Crowley, who was last seen Friday in White Plains, New York. Pierce, along with a friend (who eventually went home) snuck out of a side door of a New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Luckily Pierce was safely found at 12:30 am last night in New York City.
Friends and fam of Pierce turned to the internet to help spread the word and find him. Even if the Kardash sisters weren't watching the news, they still had plenty of people tweeting to ask them if they'd let their followers knew that Pierce was missing. On Tuesday Kim retweeted info on him, and then big sis Kourtney decided to help out:
Everyone please help #FindPierce twitter.com/KourtneyKardas…
— Kourtney Kardashian (@KourtneyKardash) May 30, 2012
In addition to her plea, Kourt gave helpful pictures and information, like Pierce's height and where he was last seen. There was even extra concern about Pierce because he was reported as "not feeling well" and being in "a fragile state" shortly before he went missing. Maybe Kourtney was especially touched by this case because she's a mom: she already has her adorable little son, Mason, plus it won't be much longer before she gives birth to a baby girl.
Do you think the Kardashians' tweets helped to find Pierce? Kim and Kourt combined have 21 million followers on Twitter. I guess we'll find out soon when details come out on how he was discovered in Manhattan. We are relieved that Pierce is safe and sound, and while Kim, Kourt and co. get criticized a lot for their wealth, supposedly lack of talent, etc. we def. appreciate that they are tweeting important stuff out there along with the fluffier things, like um, beautiful bathrooms.
