Many people were sad when "Glee" ended last week, but actress Amber Riley had sadder news to share on Twitter. On Tuesday, a 5.8 earthquake hit Northern Italy and at least 16 people died, with another reported missing and 350 suffering from assorted injuries.
It's not even the first big earthquake Italy went through recently. Just over a week earlier, on May 20, the country also suffered from a large earthquake, a slightly bigger one at 6.0 magnitude. Tuesday's aftershocks weren't a joke, either -- one was 5.6. Together, these quakes have displaced almost 15,000 people.
We all know "Glee" is a great show for philanthropy, tackling things like LGBT rights and the importance of leaving an abusive partner. But the stars of "Glee" also have big hearts, and we can see how much this earthquake news has upset Amber. She retweeted news on Italy so more people can have the earthquake victims in their thoughts:
I heard :/ praying for peace RT @mirko_zetti: @MsAmberPRiley Here in Italy a earthquake scared us all Please, RT #PrayForEarthquakeInItaly

It's early yet, and it looks like a lot of what's needed now are local volunteers helping out. In the future there's sure to be more people can do even if they don't live in Italy. In the meantime, you can do things like tweet your support of Italy. Want to join Amber for some Twitter love? #YouAreInOurThoughtsItaly!
