We've been seeing a ton of behind the scenes footage of "Silent Hill: Revelation" — most of it from fans invading the set. Shaky cam be damned, we're still curious and anxious to see more — and finally, a release date has been set for the 3D horror film.
The videogame-inspired sequel will be hitting theaters on October 26, just in time for your Halloween festivities. Sean Bean, Deborah Kara Unger and Radha Mitchell will be returning to the story directed by Michael J. Bassett. In "Silent Hill: Revelation," Heather Mason (Clemens) and her father (Bean) have been running from dangerous and mysterious forces that the young girl doesn't fully understand. Eventually all is revealed, sinking her deeper into a demonic world.

'Piranha 3DD' Poster Reveals Flesh and Killer Fish
Did you expect the official poster for the upcoming "Piranha 3DD" to be any less busty than its title implies? Dread Central shared the image that should get fans pumped to see svelte summer bodies being torn to shreds in a water park by killer fish. "Feast" director John Gulager and "Saw" writers Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan team up with the likes of Gary Busey, David Hasselhoff, Ving Rhames, Danielle Panabaker, and more. Head to theaters on June 1 for a peek — or watch it from the safety of your living room with VOD on the same day.
Attack of the 'Goblins' in 3D
Variety reports that after Laika Studios' "Coraline" and the upcoming "ParaNorman," the team is searching for their next big, spooky project. They've set their sights on an adaptation of British novelist Philip Reeve's "Goblins." "Fantastic Mr. Fox" director Marc Gustafson will be heading the 3D stop-motion animation that centers on a young goblin. He's a clever, little guy trapped amongst a sea of unpleasant creatures living in an ancient castle. He also happens to be the only one preparing for an ancient evil that is rising and ready to unleash mythical monsters upon the land, engaging the goblins in battle. The filmmaking team hopes to make it a "strange, stirring, and altogether beautiful" fantasy movie with "bite." Will the animation help or hinder the process?
Remake of Slasher Fave 'Silent Night, Deadly Night' Gets Its Sheriff
Classic 1980's slasher film "Silent Night, Deadly Night" is getting a remake from "Scream of the Banshee" director Steven C. Miller. It looks like "Mother's Day" and "My Bloody Valentine" actress Jaime King will be starring alongside veteran actor Malcolm McDowell in the upcoming reboot as a Deputy Sheriff. She tries to fend off killer Santa Claus who is terrorizing her small midwestern town. Jamie Kennedy ("Scream"), Brendan Fehr ("Final Destination"), Ellen Wong ("Scott Pilgrim vs. the World"), and other familiar genre names join her. Can Miller's production stand up to the awesomely gory original, or will he be put on the naughty list for messing it up?
'Twilight' Author Set to Produce Spooky Suspense Adaptation
"Twilight" scribe Stephenie Meyer is trading sparkly vamps for a suspense tale. Variety is sharing that the young adult author will be producing an adaptation of Lois Duncan's 1974 novel "Down a Dark Hall." The book reveals the haunted and tragic past of the Blackwood boarding school, populated by mysterious students. New student Kit Gordy tries to unravel the bizarre school's history before becoming ensnared in its chilling past. We're not counting on this one being very horrific. Do you see Meyer sticking to her roots by including a paranormal romance in the storyline?
'Drive' Director Will Be Behind the 'Maniac Cop' Remake with Original Team?
"Drive" director Nicolas Winding Refn is currently in talks to produce a prequel to the 1980's cult horror flick, "Maniac Cop." Previously unknown to most of Hollywood, Refn made a name for himself with the stylish and violent Ryan Gosling movie. His star is steadily rising thanks to a few projects currently in the works, including a "Logan's Run" remake. The original "Maniac Cop" joined William Lustig and Larry Cohen for a killer police tale, featuring Robert Z'Dar as the psychopath slashing his way through the city. Awesome genre giants Tom Atkins and Bruce Campbell try to stop him. Hard to top, no? The good news is that Lustig and Cohen want to team up with Refn for the prequel. The deal is almost set, but nothing's official at this time. The badass quotient for this project is intense. Are you equally excited?
