Earth Day is on Sunday and the environment needs us to step up our green game big time, so we can live on a healthy planet. If you need some examples of how to do that, look no further. There are a ton of super hot celebrities who know what's up when it come to eco-conscious living. There's even a list of the "Top 50 Sexiest Environmentalists," which was assembled by Rodale.com. Here are MTV Act's 10 favorite picks from the bunch.

+Ryan Gosling

Hey girl, did you know some fast-food poultry suppliers practice inhumane slaughtering methods?  Ryan Gosling does, and he uses his star power to speak out against those actions and factory farms.

+Zooey Deschanel

"The New Girl" star Zooey Deschanel is also anti-factory farm. She and a group of celeb friends sent McDonald's a letter urging the restaurant chain to stop using eggs from industrial chicken farms.

+Adam Levine

He's got the moves like Jagger, and he wants you to move in a less carbon direction. Adam Levine promotes green touring through the Green Music Group.

+Jessica Alba

As a mama of two kids, Jessica Alba is all about green products for little ones. Through her new venture, The Honest Company, she creates eco-cool products like plant-based diapers.

+Lenny Kravitz

Stylish Cinna Lenny Kravitz wants universal clean water for children. He's currently working with UNICEF to raise funds for improving water sanitation in the developing world.

+Woody Harrelson

Haymitch Woody Harrelson is the quintessential eco-guy. Not only is he vegan, he grows his own organic food, and lives in a sustainable solar-powered community on Maui. Mahalo, Woody!

+Jared Leto

Jared Letto has a rock star, eco-friendly lifestyle. He uses waste vegetable oil to fuel his band's tour bus, and he calls on his fans aka the amazing Echelon, to help save the environment. When he turned 40 (Can you believe it?!), he rallied his supporters to donate 71,000 trees to a reforestation project in Haiti.

+Lea Michele

In "Glee" star Lea Michelle's world, red and green don't mix. She doesn't eat red meat or cheese, which is a good thing because meat and dairy release harmful gases into the atmosphere and we are not talking about farts.

+Justin Timberlake

It's not exactly a secret that Justin Timberlake is into golf. In 2009, he proved just how much by opening Mirimichi, one of the most environmentally-friendly golf courses in the world. It's located in Memphis, Tennessee, and is certified as bird-friendly. Way to look out for your wildlife, JT!

+Rachel McAdams

Five years ago, Rachel McAdams and a couple of her friends launched GreenIsSexy.org, which offers tips for living a greener life. The site is shutting down at the end of the year, but all the sexy eco-advice is still there for the taking.
