#FixYoungAmerica (FYA) started their viral strategy with a talking baby, and after today, another interwebz sensation could be added to the arsenal: Stephen Colbert. All month, FYA's army of youth activists have been flooding the patriotic comedian's Twitter feed with messages asking him to join their fight to end youth unemployment, and now they're taking that social media campaign to the streets! Thousands of college students at over 300 campuses in all 50 states will be rallying for the talk show host to hop on the #FYA bandwagon starting at 2 pm ET (11 am for West Coasters)  -- so are y'all ready to get rowdy?!

The organizers of the rally -- the Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC) and The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) – know that Colbert is the perfect spokesperson for this effort with his spot-on daily takedown of DC shenanigans, so these student protesters will be sporting cutout signs of his freedom lovin' face in collegiate quads from UCLA to MIT. Plus, this Millennial mob will keep it modern by creating multimedia mayhem through videos, photos and posts sharing their #realtalk on this craptastic job market in the hopes that the Minister of Truthiness will step up and help put young Americans back to work!

The Colbert crew has to be aware of what's going down after the barrage of tweets, but what will our boy Stephen actually do? #FYA needs his voice to help spread their good jobs gospel. FYA is also hitting the road with a 10-city bus tour (in partnership with Young Invincibles) and kicking off a mainstream media campaign. And while their crowdfunding page has already reached its goal, every bit of extra dough made by May 1 will be put towards the effort to get their message heard in as many lecture halls -- as well as the halls of Congress -- as possible.
