MTV Act is getting ready to give an award...possibly to you! Do you love music and supporting the causes closest your heart? We've teamed up with the Adobe Youth Voices Aspire Awards to honor a young, talented do-gooder for creating a compelling online music video for social change. Today, we're very proud to announce that submissions are open for the MTV ACT Aspire Award.

Whether it's bullying, education, animal rights, the importance of voting, or any worthy global or local cause under the sun, this is your chance to build awareness around it with a call to action. Music connects us all, and video can reach people by the masses. Working with multimedia to produce a high-quality piece of positively charged content doesn't get better than this.

To be eligible for the contest, you must be 13-18 years old, and your project must have been created from 2010-2012. MTV will select and present the MTV Act award winner. In addition to sweet prize packages (laptops, camcorders, cameras as well as a generous donation to the charity of your choice) from Adobe Youth Voices, the young media maker will win a trip to the MTV studios in New York City! Entries are being accepted until April 20. So, seize the moment and aspire to create with purpose today!
