It was DEFINITELY a party in the USA this past week with the beginning of LGBT Pride Month! Miley Cyrus took to the Twittersphere to share her support rocking a prideful pin with the words, "Homophobia is a Social Disease."

Now, this isn't the first time Miley has stepped up advocating for the LGBT community. Remember the tattoo she got on her finger for equality? Pretty cool, right?! In a February interview with Glamour Magazine, Miley opened up about gay marriage sharing: 'This is America, the nation of dreams. We're so proud of that. And yet certain people are excluded. It's just not right.'

Although Miley received some criticism on Twitter for posting this, she doesn't let it stop her. She is an incredible ally to the LGBT community, leading a fierce path for others to follow. Cheers to Miley!
