Quentin Tarantino, you had our curiosity, but now you have our attention.
The first trailer for the highly anticipated "Django Unchained" has finally hit the web, and Christmas has never seemed farther away. The trailer debuted over at Fandango last night, and we've been playing it on repeat ever since.
It's all there. Jamie Foxx looking like a total badass, spouting off lines about "killing white folks." Christoph Waltz shines in a role that is similar enough to Hans Landa to remind us that we want so much more from him. That zoom-in on Leonardo DiCaprio's smug face kills us every time. For as much as we have been hyping up "Django Unchained," the first trailer proves beyond a doubt that Tarantino has earned our trust.
Check out the trailer after the jump!
We're also glad that "Django Unchained" follows the "True Grit" model of scoring Western trailers with a latter-day Johnny Cash song. It works every time.
