Another Pride week has come and gone, but this year we have more than memories and random glitter left over. Yes! There was so much to celebrate this year, and lucky for us, Jenni "JWOWW" Farley was in attendance at NYC's Pride Parade to make the whole day even more fabulous.

I met with the tuxedo-clad LGBTQ ally prior to the march to get her thoughts on the overturning of DOMA + Prop 8, why she was so excited to celebrate Pride, and to find out who her ultimate girl crush is (Angelina Jolie, duh!)

Jenni was a total peach, and the crowd was so excited to have her there. She has partnered with GLAAD as their first Spirit Day Ambassador of 2013, and was honored to ride in their convertible from Midtown to Christopher Street. Afterwards she headed to the Highline Ballroom to participate in Logo's Official Pride Party.

LGBTQ allies are extremely important as we continue the fight for equality. While DOMA and Prop 8 being overturned were huge steps, we still have a lot of work to do to make a better, fairer, and more loving world for our LGBTQ friends and family. Jenni is a great example of someone who is willing to stand up for what she believes in, and the future she hopes to see!
